Leicester City Football Club has launched a new programme, Active Women with the aim of getting more women active. The five-year project will see Leicester City in the Community deliver a range of sessions to get as many participants involved as possible.
The project, funded by the Football Foundation, aims to improve access to activities in the community, physical activity levels to improve well-being, self-belief, and reduce social isolation with those that take part.
Weekly sessions
Wednesday – Exercise (No Music)
Thursday – Big Local Coffee Morning
Thursday – Five Ways to Wellbeing
Saturday sessions – Drop In Coffee Morning
