Workforce Wellbeing ONLINE event - Last Chance to Book!

This online session will provide an opportunity for employers to hear more about the importance of focussing on prevention, and not only support when it comes to looking after the health and wellbeing of their staff. During the session you will learn:

*The current opinions of employers across the county on where more help is needed to support the health and wellbeing of their staff/volunteers

*The impact that the wider determinants of health have on workplace health and wellbeing – including financial wellbeing, mental health, support for carers, plus much more.

*Why prevention should always be number 1 priority when it comes to workplace health

*As well as the support available to help employers, employees, line managers and supervisors navigate the wealth of support and opportunities available

International Stress Awareness Week: 7 -11th Nov

Reducing the Stigma around Stress and Mental Health

The theme this year is Working Together to Build Resilience and Reduce Stress, and ISMA are delivering workshops and presentations to raise awareness and reduce stigma around stress and mental health. They also have numerous resources to utilise and share with colleagues this stress awareness week.

There are also some local Leicestershire-based events being hosted throughout the week to raise awareness of the campaign and to help those dealing with stress. Some of these events include:

  •   Stress Management workshop
  •   Mindfulness walk
  •   Stress Mangement drop-in session

National Self Care Week: 14 - 20th November

Self Care Week is an annual national awareness week that focuses on embedding support for self care across communities, families and generations. Exercise Self Care for Life is the theme for 2022 and organisations are being encouraged to use Self Care Week as a hook to help people "exercise" self care for a healthier, happier life.

  •   International, national, regional, local and community organisations passionate about empowering people to better look after their own physical health and mental wellbeing get involved in Self Care Week
  •   In 2021, more than 800 organisations and individuals used the awareness week to empower their audiences, reaching millions in the UK.

This Girl Can Positive Pause Event - 16th Nov ONLINE

Want to know more about the MENOPAUSE and turn this taboo subject into a positive? Join our event by getting comfy on the sofa and let us share with you some excellent guidance about living with or preparing for the menopause.

Although this is a virtual event, there will still be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and share experiences with the informal and friendly atmosphere our presenter will create.
