'Let's Get Moving' Together Fund
Utilising Sport England's Together Fund, Active Together is seeking to identify local groups and organisations that can deliver physical activity
and sport opportunities to priority communities as they recover from the pandemic and due to the cost-of-living crisis.
Organisations can apply for up to £10,000, including those groups who already deliver sport / physical activity AND those that haven't
delivered sport / physical activity sessions before.
Deadline for Applications (extended):

Sport England Small Grants Programme returns with awards of up to £15,000
The Sport England Small Grants Programme can now give 50% larger awards to help communities get active after the maximum grant amount is
increased to £15,000. The programme will prioritise funding projects that can make the biggest difference to people that need it most.
The programme will also prioritise projects that focus on
environmental sustainability, can demonstrate how they connect with their
communities, provide the biggest possible
impact to those who need it most and are working with people living in
areas of disadvantage.
Minor facility alterations are also eligible under the new criteria for this fund to improve a space to make it more energy efficient.
The deadline for applications is
Friday
30th
June.

Oakland Foundation Fund
The Oakland Foundation Fund's target group is children under the age of 16 and their families. They particularly support projects in areas where
their main sponsor Oakland International is an integral part of the local community and
Leicestershire is one of these focus areas. The Foundation's focus is based on the following themes:

Education: to ensure
children get the best education, no matter what their background.
|
•
|
Health and nutrition: to ensure
children have access to healthy food
|
•
|
Sport: to ensure
children have access to sport and activities irrespective of social background or physical ability.
|
Applications will be assessed by trustees at a formal meeting of Trustees. Trustees usually meet every 1 or 2 months and will consider all
applications received since the last meeting.

|
National Lottery Awards for All Accepting 2023 Event Applications
The National Lottery Awards for all fund is a quick way to apply for smaller amounts of funding between £300 and £10,000. The funding can support
communities with the things that are important to them, including mitigating the impact of the
cost-of-living crisis and supporting them as they seek to recover, rebuild, and grow following the Covid-19 pandemic.
In 2023 there is also funding available to help celebrate the
national events that are important to your community including the
Coronation
of His Majesty The King on 6th May. If
you need funding for an event, you should apply at least 12 weeks before it happens.

Making Local Life Better Fund
The Making Local Life Better Fund makes grants available for organisations working in Leicestershire and Rutland for up to
£3,000. They are particularly interested in funding grassroots community groups and small-medium sized charitable organisations who are
aiming to improve the lives of the people in their local communities. Organisations providing
sport and physical activity opportunities to young people in areas of deprivation or who are supporting beneficiaries from areas of
disadvantage are encouraged to apply.
The application window is currently open until
early
April.

Safeguarding LGBTQ+ young people
|

LGBTQ+ children and young people face the same risks as all children and young people, but they are at greater risk of some types of abuse. It's
essential that sport or activity providers create a supportive and welcoming culture for all children, safe from harm and a place where they can
thrive.
The Child Protection in Sport Unit have updated their LGBTQ+ topic page to include
guidance on creating supportive cultures, terminology, and safeguarding LGBTQ+ young people.

Disability Inclusion Club Hub
Activity Alliance, in partnership with Sport England Club Matters, have created the Disability Inclusion Club Hub. The online tool aims to support
clubs and organisations improve their activity opportunities, so more disabled people can be active at a local level.
The new resource enables sports clubs, community organisations, and the professional workforce to self-assess their offer for disabled
people. As part of the assessment, users will understand how inclusive and accessible their current offer is for disabled people and
identify areas for improvement.

Intelligent Energy Charitable Trust
The Intelligent Energy Charitable Trust supports charitable and voluntary organisations in the
Charnwood area with grants ranging from £1,000 to £25,000. In particular, the Trust will seek to award donations to charities and
organisations that support and help: children and young people; people with disabilities; neglected or abandoned animals; lifelong learning;
community and social development;
sports and leisure; and alleviation of hardship.
The Trust meets twice per year, in April and October.
Applications received between 1st October and 31st March will be considered at the April meeting and those received between 1st April and
30th September will be considered at the October meeting.

Rugby World Cup 2025 Impact Programme Facility Fund
The Rugby Football Union (RFU) are setting out to grow the women's game ahead of a home Rugby World Cup in 2025 with a new fund designed to make
community rugby clubs an even more welcoming space for women and girls.
The facility investment fund will pour £7 million into grassroots rugby clubs to improve toilets, upgrade changing rooms and create female-friendly
social spaces between 2023 and 2027.
The fund, which is part of the Rugby World Cup 2025 Impact programme, seeks to significantly grow the women and girls' game, it will also see the
RFU offer a dedicated funding stream for sanitary provision and female-friendly toilets for the first time.
Applications close on
Tuesday
31st
January.

LTA Foundation Funding

The LTA Foundation want to use their sport to make a real difference to people across the whole country by inspiring people from all backgrounds to
discover the joy of tennis, challenge the status quo and work collaboratively with other tennis charities and a wide range of organisations across
the 'sport for development' and third sectors.
There is a particular focus on diverse and disadvantaged communities where the game is less well established.
There will be three opportunities to submit applications to access 2023 funding throughout the year.
