About This Programme

Rollerskiing takes place on smooth surfaces such as park paths, roads, cycle and athletics tracks. It was born from cross country skiing and is often used as the basis of summer training for cross country skiers. It is a low-impact, full-body exercise that is great for core body strength, balance and overall fitness whilst being a great alternative to more traditional activities such as running or cycling.

Suitable for all ages and a perfect low-cost activity, there are more and more clubs offering GO Rollerski sessions which give people the chance to have a go at the activity. To showcase what to expect when starting out, view the GO SKI GO BOARD video below:

GO SKI GO BOARD offers you the chance to try, learn and progress with in the sport of rollerskiing through four different levels. You can find your local Rollerski club, coach or leisure provider by searching at the top of the page who offer an hour fun and informal 'TRY Rollerskiing' taster session. Following this, those that catch the bug can go on to a 'GET Rollerskiing' course. All equipment and tuition is provided within the session at a cost of £2-£5 (national average).
