Let's Get Moving for our Planet (Individual)

Join the Let's Get Moving for our Planet challenge and help us track how much CO2 (kg) we can save over the 2 weeks of COP26, by swapping the car for walking, running, wheeling, or cycling and logging your active travel.

  • Start Date31st Oct 2021
  • End Date12th Nov 2021

Description

In November, the UK, together with Italy, will host an event many believe to be the world's best last chance to get runaway climate change under control.

COP26 is the 2021 United Nations climate change conference and nations will be working together to reach agreement on how we can tackle climate change.

One way we can help to reduce our carbon emissions, is to make active travel choices when making journeys to work, the shops, school, or social events.

Walking, running, wheeling, and cycling is great for our physical and mental health too.

In partnership with Active Together and Choose How You Move, log your active travel throughout the two-week challenge (running simultaneously with COP26), and be in with the chance of winning a great selection of prizes.

Sign up as an individual, or head to the challenge page to register as a workplace. Remember to log your activity (walking, running, cycling or wheelchair-propelled activity) as 'active travel' for it to be included on the leaderboard.

Working from home? If you're not travelling into the office these days, feel free to join us with a daily 'fake commute', and still log your walks, runs, or bike rides.
