Lockdown Challenge!
A huge thank you goes to everyone who took part in our Virtual Together Lockdown Challenge recently.
The Challenge ran from 18th January - 21st February and consisted of young people and their families using our new Virtual Together mobile app to record the number of minutes each day that they spent being physically active.
The aim was to record 60 minutes of activity as often as possible with each and every 60mins logged getting that participant's name a place in the prize draw at the end of the challenge.
Overall, we had a total of 75 participants involved, logging a very impressive total of over 94,000 active minutes!
LRS Sports Development Officer, Liam Drake said, "It's great to see so many young people are staying so active so often despite everything that has been going on recently. Our Virtual Together app will continue to grow with new challenges being updated regularly so we can continue to encourage young people to get and stay active both at school and at home, whether it is during the week, at evenings and weekends, and even during school holidays. We hope everyone enjoyed taking part and will take the opportunity to explore the app further and see what else they can get involved in now and in the future."
A list of prizes can be found below – we are in the process of contacting winners! Congratulations if you are one of them!
