Local Sport & Physical Activity Alliances (LSAs)
A Local Sport & Physical Activity Alliance (LSA) is a collection of people who have a desire to develop and promote sport and physical activity in their locality.
LSAs are there to make sure that sport and physical activity is delivered and coordinated in the right way, locally. We want to make sure that clubs, coaches and participants are catered for in the appropriate way for their location.
A typical LSA may include representatives from a local authority, school, sport clubs, sports centres, volunteer networks and wider community groups such as disability groups.
So if you are looking for information on how to become more physically active locally or a club wanting to celebrate your success, then your LSA is there to help and support you!
There are nine LSAs operating across Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland which have developed their work around local priorities, and each is supported by us here at Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport.
