So I found a whole new world out there of Group lead rides After finding FLAB clothing I was on the site the other day (looking at more clothes ) and found the FLAB Social Ride section and that lead me to my local area. I've cycled many miles last year on my own and loved exploring the world but it would be nice to have a few friends.There was a ride listed and I umm and Arr about going, worried I'd be too slow and be going on my own, not knowing anyone!! I message the leader and he was so lovely and encouraging so I was umm shall I go Then out on my bike the other day I bumped in to a ladies group so I stopped to chat and asked about there group, the leader told me about FLAB Rides and recommend me go with Andrew who I had messaged already (she said he will look after me and I would be fine), so I booked in and went between super excited to be doing it and worried I'd hold them back and all the silly thought you get!! So today in the very cold weather off I went on my own and did my first ever group ride from Oakthorpe to Fradley Junction a 34 mile round trip including a cafe stop, everyone was super nice and I loved every minute of it even in the cold!! I can't wait for the next one now here is a few pictures (the last one is me all kitted out in my new FLAB as I've never had cycling gear before)
