Where to find us - Directions to our County Hall Office (from 30th September 2024 onwards)

County Hall is situated on the A50 at Glenfield. Upon arrival visitors should take the slip road to County Hall from the traffic island on the A50 at Glenfield, and proceed to the visitors car park. Visitor car parking for up to two hours and disabled car parking spaces can be found at the front of County Hall.

You can plan your journey to County Hall using the Traveline website (just enter your postcode, followed by LE3 8RA).

By Car

County Hall is on the A50 about 3 miles northwest of Leicester City Centre. On site visitors parking is restricted and you will need to book a space in advance.

By Train

The nearest railway station is Leicester (London Road, LE2 0QB).

You can either walk from the Railway Station to St Margaret's Bus Station (Gravel Street, LE1 3AG) or you can catch a bus from the stop immediately opposite the the Railway Station entrance to St Margaret's Bus Station, changing onto a second bus for County Hall.

By Bike

County Hall is on National Route 63 of the National Cycle Network.

The route from city centre is all off-road and surfaced, roughly 3miles. Secure cycle parking on site. Plan your journey with www.cyclestreets.net

By Bus

A number of bus routes serve County Hakk, departing from St. Margaret's Bus Station.

SportPark is located at the Loughborough University Science & Enterprise Park, just off the Loughborough University Campus, by the West Entrance.

Car Parking Charges

Please note that from the 13th November 2023 visitors to campus will be required to pay for their parking. For further information on Visitor Registration, Visitor Tariffs and details of where to park on campus please go to: www.lboro.ac.uk/services/fm/services/traffic-parking/visitors/

Car Parking

Car parking is available to visitors at Holywell Park and the Multi-Storey Car Park (see attached Visitors Map and Parking Charges information above), which is a short walk to reception. Please leave 5-8 minutes walking time. Visitors with mobility problems can pre-book parking spaces by calling SportPark reception on 01509 222820.

By Road

From M1: Leave the M1 at junction 23, take the A512 signposted Loughborough. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Holywell Way signposted University West Entrance. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Oakwood Drive. SportPark is the red building situated on the right.

From A6: Take the A6004. Go past the University East Entrance on Epinal Way. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Ashby Road signposted M1. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Holywell Way signposted University West Entrance. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Oakwood Drive. The SportPark is situated on the right.

By Rail

Loughborough train station is approximately 90 minutes from London St Pancras (domestic) by East Midlands Trains. SportPark is approximately a 10 minute by taxi ride from the station. Alternatively, you can use the Kinchbus Sprint bus service from Loughborough train station (also known as the University Shuttle) and alight at the Holywell Park stop for SportPark.
