Out of my comfort zone!

I have always been a very anxious person and someone who finds it hard to try anything different, always thinking I will fail.

In the last few years, I've been trying to push myself out of my comfort zone and tackle some of my anxieties head on. I've tried to push myself in my work and personal life and also tried some different activities.

Each time I've managed a little win, or a small achievement in any area of my life, it's helped me to feel a bit more confident and realise that I can battle through anxiety.

Realising that exercise can play a big part in managing my anxiety has been fantastic for me over the last few years. Walking with friends or family or a quick jog round the block really helps keep me grounded.

This photo is of me having climbed the roof of the O2 recently and it sums up the "feel good" factor that staying active gives me.
