The last few days of bowls games have been a real mix of great and disappointing, 1st on Wednesday at Melton indoor we had the open triples final which was very underwhelming indeed and we lost by alot , then Thursday after giving some coaching in the morning I played my last away game outdoors this season at Barnstone bowls club a new club for me to play at, and I was skip on the best rink winning by 20 - 10 then Saturday it was the 1st finals day at Market Overton Outdoor Bowls Club in the morning I was in the drawn triples final and was lucky to be on the winning team by 2 shots with the last bowl of end 18. Then in the afternoon I played in the Aussie pairs final and unfortunately this didn't go to plan and we were runners up, But we gave it our best maybe next time. This Wednesday we are playing in the Griffin outdoor bowls club Gala at Harlow in Essex with my great friend Daniel and Denise +1 more lady as yet unknown lol then Saturday it's my 3rd final at Market Overton in the mixed pairs with Jo, should be a good end to the outdoor season fingers crossed. So not bad for my 1st season bowling at Market Overton Outdoor Bowls Club in 3 finals and runner up in the club gala . A big thank you to my teammates who have put up with me and made me very welcome.
