Early morning exercise to clear the mind

November was hard, I'm not going to lie.

I went in, headstrong, I'd loved October. The colours and the change in weather, it was all going so well.

It started with a cold, I lost momentum completely on day 1. I was set to try a diet (before our Christmas party) and wanted to do the C25K. It didn't happen. I was walking the dogs at 6am and saw some beautiful sunrise. I managed to attend the LOPC women's group and Tuesday, it was dark and cold but the girls' spirits lifted me.

Week 2 came around quickly, I was still under the weather and then personal issues arose, I was struggling to get up and walk the dogs, luckily my neighbour wanted to continue so we were still getting up and managing.

The course I was doing at LOPC was coming to a finish, the girls were great to be around and I looked forward to seeing them all.

My nanna then died, it was a big loss for the family and I lost myself walking the dogs, luckily they enjoyed it but id go out twice a day (normal but much longer walks). The weather was getting colder and I still couldn't kick this cold completely.

A friend suggested we did a sun rise paddle, so a group of us got up, met at 6.30am and paddled from LOPC to Birstal, we were on time, it didn't disappoint. It was cold (the splash froze on our crafts) but so beautiful, well worth the early morning.

Not every day is going to be easy but i try to remember to get exercise and get out side, easily done with 2 dogs, I cant imagine life without them now.
