The Club was formed in September 1996 to provide organised, leisure-time activity

for the local youngsters in New Parks and the surrounding areas, to help channel

their energies in a positive direction; The Allexton Centre was offered as a meeting

place and New Parks Community College provided playing space for the members

– hence the Club name, Allexton & New Parks.

The Club's subsequent growth and success could not have been foreseen; they

are currently running 24 teams, in competition from U9 upwards, and cater for

a multi-racial membership, numbering 350+, aged 5 years onwards.

The club have over 35 volunteers, all personnel involved with U18s are CRB checked

and all age groups have qualified coaches, with 'Safeguarding Children' Workshop

and 'Emergency Aid' Course experience. The club encourages local youths and adult

volunteers to undertake 'In-service training' and become actively involved in, not only

junior, youth and open-age football, but also in the promotion of a girls/ladies section

and 'inclusive' football.

In 2007 Leicester City Council & LRCFA, with the Football Foundation and other

funding assistance, pressed ahead with a Financial Investment Strategy to provide

updated football facilities at locations throughout the city; Allexton & New Parks FC

was recognised as the main partner Club to use the new facility at New College

Leicester which boasts a full-size '3g' floodlit All-weather Training Pitch, a floodlit

senior pitch and a pavilion with large Clubroom.

Come and join a winning team that provides first class coaching, first class kit and

as access to first class facilities.
