About Dolly Rockit Rollers
What will I have to do? We welcome anyone over the age of 18 who wants to get fit and make new friends. Never skated? It doesn't matter as our experienced coaches will teach you everything you need to know about this wonderful game. All we ask is that you are over 18 with a can do attitude. There is no upper age limit and you can be of any size or shape so what are you waiting for? WE NEED YOU!
We will teach you all you need to know to play roller derby including WFTDA basic skills (how to fall, how to stop, whips, etc) and the rules of the game plus tactics. You'll learn how to work with others in a pack, improve your speed and how to block other skaters.
When can I join? Any Sunday. We hold new skater sessions every Sunday from 12.30pm - 2.30pm. All we need is an email just to let us know your coming and include your shoe size.
What should I bring? Make sure you wear something comfy - shorts or leggings will do! You can hire skates, pads and helmets if you don't have them but please drop us an email to let us know what size skates you need. We have lots!!
How much does it cost? Each two hour session costs £5 including your skate hire. First week is free.
