Leicester Blue Sox Girls & Ladies Softball

Never played softball before? Doesn't matter! Our experienced coaches will teach you everything you need to know about this wonderful sport!

There is no upper age limit and you can be of any size or shape, so what are you waiting for? WE NEED YOU!

What will I have to do?

We will teach you all you need to know to play fastpitch softball, mastering the basics such as throwing and catching a softball, hitting the ball with a bat and scoring runs. You will learn how to be a team player, a range of defensive skills plus have lots of fun running the bases!

When and where are your sessions?

Taster sessions are held weekly on Tuesday evenings for the following age-groups:

Junior girls (ages 10-16) 6.00pm-7.30pm

Adult ladies (ages 17-no upper age limit) 7.30pm-9.00pm

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothing, such as leggings/tracksuit bottoms and indoor trainers are fine. A bottle of water is recommended for hydration. All other equipment, such as helmets, gloves and bats are supplied by the Blue Sox.

How much does it cost?

As a special incentive, adult ladies get their first session absolutely FREE.

Junior girls get their first two sessions FREE.

Further discounts apply if you are a 'super-recruiter' and bring your friends to future sessions.

Once you get hooked on softball, we can talk to you about our membership packages. As our initial sessions are free, there should be nothing stopping you giving it a try!

How do I register?

Just turn up at our next Tuesday session, fill in a short form and then you'll be good to go!
