About Leicester Sharpe Basketball Club
Leicester Sharpe provides young adults with special and additional needs the opportunity to play basketball and receive expert coaching, in a fun and friendly environment training on Mondays term times only.
Roger Sharpe was the coach of Desford Demons for over 28 years, but following the 2017 Special Olympics in Sheffield, Roger and his wife resigned after ensuring that someone would continue his legacy.
John Smith took over the basketball club changed it's name to Leicester Sharpe in honour and respect of all the hard work Roger and his wife Sandra did during the 28 years that they ran the club.
