I've been talking to a lot of people this week about how looong January feels. The weeks feel manic and are flying by but the end still isn't in sight!

For a lot of my clients motivation is low. They've been back to the grind, they're dodging Covid, and things just feel a little bit flat. This goes for seasoned exercisers as well as those who have started a regime as a New Year's resolution.

I know I bang on about this a lot, but just keep doing what you can and try not to feel disheartened if your big January activity plans have gone a little off piste. This is totally normal and one of the reasons I try and steer clients away from that big New Year overhaul. Keep it simple. Try and walk to places if you can (last week I decided to walk the long way to the pub - it's all about balance right?!) or why not blast your fave songs and have a dance round the kitchen (I can recommend some excellent cheesy songs!)
