Description

Summer should have seen nations across Europe competing for a footballing crown. The Euros may be delayed but that doesn't need to stop us coming together - as friends, families, colleagues or teammates - to take part in our own challenge to be active together. The first of the Active Together Main Events is this team challenge, where we encourage you to get active in your own way to help build your team score. The more activity you log using the Activity Tracker, the more points your team will receive and the higher you can climb the leaderboard.

You don't have to be a football fan to take part, any activity you log at any point during the 2 week challenge, whether it be walking, running, a home workout or keepy uppy's in the garden, will count and will contribute to your teams points.

Click the 'Add Team' button at the top right of this page to create your team and get involved (you must have created an account first). Your team can be made up of colleagues, friends, family members, or teammates, and can be made up of a maximum of 6 people. Your score will be averaged, so if you don't have a full team of 6, this will be reflected on the leaderboard to make the scoring fair.

Top the leaderboard at any point during the challenge and each member of your team will be sent an electronic certificate!

The Government advise that you can leave your house to exercise outdoors with up to 5 other people, provided you are meeting social distancing guidelines. You should stay 2m away from anyone who isn't part of your household. More advice: www.gov.uk/government/news/coronavirus-guidance-on-access-to-green-spaces
