About Streetbikes

We are a cycling charity who enable people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to exercise in a safe environment

Our activities have two main arms; our Recycled Bike Shop in Milnsbridge transforms collects and restores old bikes and uses them in our sessions, sells them at an affordable price, or gifts them to people in need, whether they be young or elderly, from low socio-economic backgrounds, vulnerable or isolated, or mentally or physically handicapped. For people with physical disabilities, we possess bikes to suit their physical needs: we have tricycles, bikes that wheelcahirs can be loaded onto or come up with personalised solutions. We always seek new ways of enabling people to cycle because we believe that cycling can bring health, joy and an invaluable sense of belonging to individuals.
