Girls rally to round off Team Leicestershire’s Table Tennis finals

Team Leicestershire's table tennis finals conclude on Monday 28th November, with the girls taking their turn at Judgemeadow.

Following three finals in less than a fortnight, the U-13-19's will pick up the paddle in the hope of securing the crown of Leicestershire's finest. With schools from across 9 of the 10 districts taking part, the battle for supremacy will be widespread across Leicestershire.

The boy's finals produced victors from Hastings, Manor High and Bosworth school, with the latter two both having the chance to double the success on Monday. With the girls following, they will be hoping to follow last year's successful finals.

The 2015/16 Team Leicestershire season saw Our Lady's Convent School top the U13 table, followed by Manor High who secured the win in the U16. The Oadby & Wigston representatives will have the opportunity to defend their crown this year, with four other schools to beat.

The teams taking part are:

  • The Kibworth School (U13 & U16)
  • Belvoir High School (U13)
  • Crown Hills Community College (U13)
  • The Market Bosworth School (U13)
  • Charnwood College (U13)
  • Manor High School (U16)
  • Rushey Mead Academy (U16)
  • Winstanley Community College (U16)
  • Our Lady's Convent School (U16)
  • Bosworth Academy (U19)

Team Leicestershire is the umbrella Association for all traditional competitive school sport in secondary schools across Leicestershire, Leicester City and Rutland.
