This Girl Can campaign set for a return to our TV screens

It's almost time: This Girl Can will burst back on to TV screens this week with a whole new ad.

The new TV ad is set to hit British airwaves on 24 February (on ITV - keep your eyes peeled during the second episode of Coronation Street!). New campaign images have already started hitting social media platforms, followed by a nationwide billboard ad campaign.

Sport England's new national campaign has already started hitting social media platforms and nationwide billboard ad campaign. This Girl Can is all about getting women active – swapping fear of judgement with a celebration of cellulite, sweat and jiggly flesh. The new ads feature a wide range of women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, targeting women aged from 14 up to 60 and beyond.

Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport and partners are advocating the countywide This Girl Can campaign with the aim to encourage more women and girls to get involved and enjoy sport and exercise.

On Friday 17^th March, the second Leicester-Shire & Rutland 'This Girl Can' Charity Night Out takes place, offering local women a girls' night out with a difference!

Organised by Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) in support of local charity LAMP, the event takes place at King Edward VII Science & Sport College in Coalville, running from 7.00-10.00pm.

The evening will involve a variety of activity and health taster sessions including Zumba, Pilates, Martial Arts, Yoga, Insanity and Health Checks. There will also be a Challenge Zone of individual mini-activities for the women to challenge themselves at and Health, Beauty and Craft Stalls.

The night will end with a mass Clubbercise – a fitness class that feels more like a night out than a workout! With fun, easy-to-follow dance fitness routines, the women will use rave glow sticks to classic and the latest chart hits in a darkened room with disco lights!
