Over 100 women take part in #LLRGirlsCan Walking Bingo challenge!

This May, during National Walking Month, we hosted the #LLRGirlsCan Walking Bingo challenge. The challenge was aimed at women wanting to get started on their walking journeys and join likeminded women in a challenge. Well done to all who took part, over 100 women downloaded the bingo card and got involved!

The challenge consisted of completing a selection of 20 mini walking challenges to help ladies to fit 20 minutes of walking into their day, with the aim of completing a parkwalk at the end of the challenge.

This challenge supported Living Without Abuse. Living Without Abuse are a local charity who provide help and support for anyone suffering from domestic abuse or sexual violence in Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. Participating women were asked to consider making a donation to this charity.

We hope that the challenge has inspired you to walk a little each day and inspired you to attend your local parkwalk. Remember, parkwalk runs alongside parkrun at 9am, every Saturday.
