Organisations keen on running holiday clubs for children and young people in Leicestershire next Easter need to apply by 8 November.
Leicestershire County Council secured £1.5m from the Department for Education funded Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) Programme to co-ordinate the clubs during the school holidays.
Funding is available for Leicestershire schools, charity, voluntary and community sector organisations, and other out-of-school and holiday activity providers, to deliver 'Leicestershire Holidays Together' HAF clubs.
HAF holiday club places are free for school aged children who receive benefits related free school meals and provide fun activities, nutritious meals and a safe space where young people can make new friends.
