Leicester Nirvana FC 3G FTP Consultation

Leicester Nirvana FC are launching consultation with the local community and partners with a view to enhancing the facilities at the club by installing a 3G Football Turf Pitch.

Proposal:
It is proposed that the club install a 3G artificial pitch surface suitable for a variety of sports, which will also be floodlit.

In relation to this project, key priority areas for the project are:

- Women & Girls provision
- Working with culturally diverse communities
- Engaging people with long term health conditions, disability users,
- Engaging people from lower socio-economic groups.

Next steps

The club is working with a variety of other sports bodies to secure their support and they need to evidence the need for the pitch and the benefits it will bring. They encourage everyone to take part in the consultation process which runs from 1st March - 31st July 2024 via the questionnaire in the link below.

As part of the consultation process they want to meet with local organisations, across the community, to:

- Understand your aspirations
- Outline what you want to see delivered at the site
- What usage of the pitch looks like
- How the pitch can help your organisation grow and delivery its outcomes

Feedback received from this engagement will be taken into consideration as part of funding application to the Football Foundation.
