Leicester City is a proud sporting city with a culturally diverse population. Active Together and Active Leicester are keen to connect with partners who are interested in bringing resources to our City for the benefit of a more active population.

Last year Active Leicester launched their new strategy, Turning the Tide on Inactivity 2023-2028. Active Leicester Strategy

"We believe that sport and physical activity has a big role to play in improving the physical and mental health of the city. It can also support the economy, reconnect communities and build a stronger society for all. Within Leicester, for too long, residents with the most to gain from being active have been the least able to take part."

To be clear, there is no funding available at this time, but there is an extensive network of organisations, community groups and proactive people that we can connect you with.
