Mental Health Awareness Week 15th - 21st May

Mental Health Awareness Week is open to everyone. It is all about starting conversations about mental health and the things in our daily lives that can affect it.

About This Campaign

The Mental Health Foundation encourages everyone to get involved in relating each year's topic to their daily lives.

2023's theme for the week is Anxiety.

Anxiety is an important human emotion but, in some circumstances, it can get out of hand and become a mental health problem.

A lot of different things can contribute to feelings of anxiety, including exams, relationships, a new job, a date or a big life change. It is also an emotion people frequently experience around money and not being able to meet life's basic needs. Anxiety is also one of the most common mental health problems people face.
