SportsAid is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Help us to support the next generation of British sports starts by taking part in SportsAid Week.

About This Campaign

There are lots of fun ways to get involved in SportsAid Week. You can do all of your fundraising during SportsAid Week, start in the week or finish in the week - you choose!

Need inspiration? Check out our templates at the bottom of this page which contain initial ideas of how you can get involved. Also look through our fundraising guide which contains many more great ideas. Here's a few to whet your appetite...

  • Cover 40 miles: Get sponsored to row, run, swim, walk or cycle 40 miles to mark SportsAid 40th anniversary year. This can be done individually or in teams.
  • SportsAid Headbands: Purchase SportsAid '1976' anniversary headbands for £2.50 each and share a photo of you wearing them on social media during SportsAid Week @TeamSportsAid #SupportTheNext. Place your order here.
  • Healthy Bake Sale: Encourage staff to eat healthily by holding a healthy bake sale. Think protein balls and energy bars.
  • Fitness Friday: Friday 30th September is Fitness Friday! We are asking the nation to wear their sports kit for the day. Encourage your school, university, workplace or club to hold a dress down day with a difference and pay £2 to do so. If you want to be a little more creative then ask staff to come dressed as their favourite Olympian or Paralympian! Make sure you share a photo of your outfit on social media @TeamSportsAid #SupportTheNext.
