Midsummer Dream Walk

Harborough Twenty 12 Lions Club is excited to give you the chance to fundraise for your of choice charity by taking part in our Midsummer Dream Walk, at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground Near Lutterworth. This fascinating and atmospheric site, which is not normally open to the public, saw the development of the UKs first jets. The walk will take place along an ex cold-war runway, with views of old planes.

Theres a range of walks, suitable for the whole family, from laps of 5.6km, a shorter 2.75km route; plus a special walk of up to 400 meters on the main runway for those who cannot manager longer distances. The whole site is level ground and you walk on tarmac, so its open to all and is suitable for wheelchairs and baby buggies. Dogs are allowed on leads.

The morning 10am to noon start is for those wanting to do multiple laps.
