Business Boost – Focus on Start-up Support for Leicester and Leicestershire

Following the success of the last Business Boost event in January and the feedback received, this special event will shine a spotlight on help available for those thinking about starting a business or if you have started in the last three years.

Anyone based in Leicester or Leicestershire is welcome to attend to hear about how you begin the journey into self-employment and some of the key areas you should focus on.

There will be guest speakers covering the topics of social media, business planning, finance and well-being as well as the return of the marketplace, this time with specialist start-up support providers.

Following each presentation, you will have the chance to ask questions, particularly if you have already started and are facing any issues.

The final talk will be from a local entrepreneur, who has been in your shoes and knows the difficulties of starting a business. They will share some of their enterprise journey, including lessons learnt along the way.

This will be a friendly and informal event, there's no dress code! Just a requirement to come along, connect with others and take away lots of useful information.
