Archery Beginner's Course

Archery Beginner's Course run by Lutterworth Archery Club by qualified coaches for complete beginners for all age groups from 9yrs upwards.

The cost includes all equipment and Insurance. (Hot drinks will be available during the course)

The beginners course is held at Lutterworth Archery Club's shooting ground, Buckwell Lodge, Lutterworth Road, North Kilworth, Lutterworth.

This is a family friendly & Inclusive club where the objectives are to ensure members enjoy the sport of Archery in a relaxed atmosphere. The course will give you the basics of shooting and how to shoot safely in a club environment

The course is run over two days (Saturday & Sunday) between 1000 and 1600hrs on each day. The cost is £45 per person payable in advance by bank transfer. Cheques should be made payable to "Lutterworth Archery Club"

The club's insurance covers you during the course and for 1 session afterwards after which you will need to affiliate to Archery GB (formerly The Grand National Archery Society – usually referred to as GNAS). It would be great if you also felt like joining the club after the course is over. If you do then there is a discount for new members who complete the course. Membership is on a pro-rata basis for new members. We have no additional shooting fees until we move indoors in the winter, then a small fee to cover the hall hire.

On completion of the course, some used archery kit may be available to purchase at a fraction of the cost for new kit. Speak to the coaches during the course for advice.
