The Policy and Integrity Directorate provides leadership to our thinking and action in relation to key public policy areas including Health and Wellbeing. Our purpose is to create change in policy and practice, where we know there are big blockers or opportunities and use our advocacy to achieve these changes.

You will join the organisation at an exciting time, as we expand our work through a further 80 –100 places across the next five years. You'll be part of a team with a broad portfolio of relationships, all connected to the health agenda such as working with health charities, social prescribing or partnering with sport and physical activity providers who provide opportunities and support for those that need it most, to help reduce inequalities.

Sport England recognises the positive value of diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds, particularly where we are under-represented, currently, this includes disabled people and those from culturally diverse communities.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 11th February. Interviews are due to take place in person at our London office during the week commencing 4th March.

Role Purpose

The post-holder will lead action designed to successfully influence public bodies and charities across health and social care to recognise and act on the value of physical activity and sport, including increased collaboration with the sport and physical activity sector.
