About Chief Medical Officer
Working in conjunction with the EIS Directors of Medical Services and Athlete Health, Head of Paralympic Performance Support and the British Paralympic Association (BPA) Director of Sport, the post holder will contribute to the achievement of the aims and objectives of the EIS and BPA as follows:
• To support the strategic leadership and development of the EIS Paralympic Performance Support strategy.
• To act as a point of expert opinion for the EIS and BPA in all aspects of Paralympic medical provision and quality assure medical practice within and across EIS/BPA programmes and activities.
• Working in partnership with BPA, to strategically lead the design and provision of medical and health care services for ParalympicsGB core preparation programme up to and including each Paralympic Games (Paris 2024, Milan-Cortina 2026, Los Angeles 2028).
