About Planning Manager
We are seeking to add to our experienced and established team of Planning Managers, based around the country, to help deliver our high quality statutory and strategic planning functions.
Sport England is an arm's length body of government established by Royal Charter in 1972. We're responsible for growing and developing grassroots sport and helping more people get active across England. We have a statutory responsibility to protect playing field sites in the planning system. The North Planning Team covers the North West, North East, Yorkshire, the East Midlands and the East of England.
We are looking for a planner who is a Chartered Member of the RTPI with post chartership experience of working in a Local Authority, other government organisation, planning consultancy, other organisation or with experience of working in another statutory consultee.
