About Well Coordinator x 2 Positions

Join our dynamic and vibrant team to lead our smoking cessation and physical activity and walks programme. We're currently recruiting for full time staff on both, permanent and an 1 year fixed term contract to work 37 hours a week Monday to Friday.

You'll oversee the delivery, performance and development of the smoking cessation, physical activity and walks programme . You'll work with the local community to encourage participation in the various healthy lifestyle programmes that Live Well offers. As an effective leader, you'll be responsible for managing a team of advisors, developing strategies and processes to facilitate the ongoing recruitment, use and development of volunteers within the service. To ensure the service is fit for purpose, you'll collect appropriate data and using monitoring and audit tools to understand the effectiveness of the programme. You'll respond to complaints and escalated queries and resolve these in an efficient manner.

With previous experience of managing or coordinating on programmes in relation to Exercise on referral scheme, Physical Activity, Smoking Cessation, Managing Volunteers etc you'll have knowledge of the benefits of making lifestyle changes and behaviour change methods and understand how to implement them into service delivery. You'll have experience of working towards KPI's and developing services to meet the needs of the local community. Using excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you'll develop strong relationships with other Council services, health partners and third sector organisations as well as deal effectively with people from all backgrounds. With a mature and calm manner, you'll be able to prioritise tasks, work under pressure to meet set objectives.
