The purpose of this job role is to plan, deliver and monitor a coordinated programme of high quality coaching support to teachers in curriculum PE and by leading extra-curricular clubs. The coach must deliver curriculum support and festival activities that are progressive and reflective of the needs of young people whilst supporting and developing Primary School teachers to improve their understanding and ability to deliver high quality PE and sport for all young people.

Grade 7 - £18,908 actual salary (FTE £22,782)

37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Term Time Only

Fixed Term until 31 August 2023 (with the possibility of the contract being extended until August 2024)

Based at The Castle Rock School

The North West Leicestershire School Sports Partnership (NWLSSP) was formed in 2005 as part of the Government's plan to create 450 SSPs across England. The Castle Rock School in Coalville has been our host from the very beginning and continues to be the base for all of the NWLSSP team today. The NWLSSP currently has 41 member schools of which 35 are Primary Schools, 5 Secondary Schools and 1 is a Special School. The NWLSSP works with and on behalf of its member schools to develop high quality PE, school sport and physical activity for all pupils within its schools. We work with and are supported by a number of national, regional and local partners to achieve this.
