About Assistant Marketing & Insight Officer
There will be a specific focus on (although not limited to):
- Using qualitative and quantitative research methods (utilising both online and offline tools) to assist us understand the physical activity needs and behaviours of our communities
- Creating and scheduling fresh, relatable content for our Active Together channels and social media platforms
- Supporting our monitoring and evaluation work and demonstrating the impact of our projects
- Developing tailored messages to promote the benefits of physical activity and the programmes we offer, to enable us to reach the target audiences we work with.
About You
To apply for this post you must be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, experience and skills:
- Educated to a minimum of level 4 in a relevant area, or and equivalent level of experience in the areas associated to a marketing, communications, research or insight type role
- Effectively use digital marketing tools ie. websites, social media platforms, newsletters, videos, design software, infographics, to engage audiences
- Experience of monitoring and evaluating projects or programmes as well as being able to demonstrate the impact of the work we do
- Good written and verbal communication skills and a flair for creative writing
- Be IT literate including intermediate to advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Word and Excel, analytical and survey tools. Be able to use Powerpoint, Outlook, Canva (or equivalent).
- Good organisational, planning and presentation skills, able to write updates/reports, and a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and ability to work on own initiative.
