The organisers of the borough's 11th annual sports awards competition, Hinckley & Bosworth Sport and Health Alliance (HBSHA), are urging people to nominate those individuals and teams whose success deserves to be more widely celebrated.
It could be someone whose dedication, commitment or performance has excelled this year within their sport; someone who has been an inspiration; someone who has always gone that extra mile to support others; or someone who has changed their life around for the better through sport.
Nominations are needed for a number of categories, including:
- Coach of the Year
- Clubs of the Year
- Disabled Athlete Awards
- Volunteering Awards
- Unsung Heroes
- Junior Awards and School Awards
- Active Business of the Year Award (New for 2017)
