Can you help the Leicestershire & Rutland Youth Sailing Association?

This LRYSA (Leicestershire & Rutland Youth Sailing Association) will be forced to close if they cannot provide specialised facilities for their disabled students, which are thought to be a benefit everyone who uses the centre.

The LRYSA is a fully inclusive Charity run by Volunteer Instructors, with the aim to make sailing accessible to the whole community, regardless of their mental or physical abilities, age or background.

'We have a strong reputation and many years' experience working with vulnerable young people and are the only RYA Sailability accredited Centre in Leicestershire.'

All Instructors are trained to high RYA standards and we rely on local funding to be able to maintain these qualifications and also the level of boats and equipment we need to safely offer our services at a very low cost or often free to our most vulnerable groups.

We offer dinghy sailing courses from age 7 to 80+ for all abilities (complete novices to advanced race training) and work closely with Disadvantaged Groups. As well as RYA Sailing Courses, we also run RYA Power Boat and Safety Boat Courses.

Please visit our crowdfunding page and pledge your support - thank you!

See crowdfunding T&Cs but your pledge will only be taken from your account if we hit our £5,000
