The sector may be broader than you think. CIMSPA, the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity, break the sector down into the following sub-sectors:

Exercise and Fitness, Leisure Operations, Professional Sport, Health & Wellbeing, Community Sport, Adventure Sport.
