The North Face's Allyship in the Outdoors digital course was launched at the Kendal Mountain Festival on Friday. The course is free and easy to access and takes somewhere between 30-60 minutes to go through, with information and short videos followed by a 'test your knowledge' session. It isn't pass or fail, but definitely makes you think and ends with the participant making a commitment to Allyship.https://allyship.openinguptheoutdoors.com/Part of Allyship is about encouraging others to increase their awareness of the issues surrounding access to the outdoors for people of colour, so sharing this course is part of my action plan.
