Cricket Management PG Certificate - DMU

De Montfort University, in Leicester, offers a Postgraduate Certificate in Cricket Management. This online course will help individuals involved in cricket to advance their careers by studying the issues affecting the sport today. This interdisciplinary programme focuses on cricket's ethics, governance, diversity, history and heritage, and as a new Olympic sport, its political, social, economic, and cultural contexts. It includes specific elements relating to the socio-cultural role of cricket in order to help students develop a critical perspective on their management work.

Run from De Montfort University's world-renowned International Centre for Sports History and Culture, one of the partners for the FIFA Master, this PG Certificate in Cricket Management is designed to help advance careers within cricket. Addressing the issues facing cricket at all levels of the game, the course aims to support professionals with an understanding of how cricket operates with a clear sense of ethical behaviour and a cultural perspective on sport in the 21st century, and how to effectively implement and communicate these concepts into cricket organisations.

Individuals who do not have an undergraduate degree but have relevant experience are still eligible to apply.

Flexibility:
The course is fully online and is asynchronous to allow individuals to study as it best suits their schedule. The course runs from September through May and has two modules:
--History, Diversity, and Ethics in Cricket
--Cricket Development
