Active Hinckley & Bosworth supported the implementation of Youth Engagement Activators (YEA's) to engage children and young people who have had their physical and mental health affected because of the pandemic.
The YEA has worked with schools and community groups within Hinckley and Bosworth to provide activities for over 200 children and young people. This has covered 10 primary and secondary schools and one community setting.
An application has been approved to extend the role until March 2025, through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
