As a volunteer you are responsible for helping to maintain the plot, weeding, preparing beds for planting, watering and feeding plants.

Skills/Equipment Required:

Some gardening knowledge will be helpful but not essential

Fitness Level Required:

Average level - ability to do some digging, weeding the plot and carrying and lifting objects

What to Wear and Bring:

Volunteers should wear suitable footwear for muddy and soil ground as well as suitable clothing for working outdoors depending on weather. You will also need water for drinking.

Frequency of Sessions:

2-4 times a week or as required

Duration of Each Session:

1-2 hours

Risks:

Minimal risks. Possible risks - injury from using gardening tools or being stung by nettles of insects.

Additional Comments:

Volunteers would be required to work mainly during evenings and weekends.
