About This Campaign

National Schools Snowsport Week provides facilities and clubs with the opportunity to:

  • Maintain existing schools and secure new educational contacts as regular customers
  • Obtain new customers from children who train regularly
  • Increase memberships, and race competition entries (including freestyle)
  • Increase local facility profile (products and sessions on offer)
  • Showcase local snowsport clubs
  • Raise awareness of skiing and snowboarding in England

To make National Schools Snowsport Week even more successful, we also ask that interested clubs and facilities are responsible for the following tasks in house:

  • Plan relevant sessions and prices to generate maximum participation
  • Organise staff to cover all activities
  • Advertise sessions locally
  • Support national advertising by Snowsport England via social media
  • Provide data and feedback on events to Snowsport England

After the week, we recommend that schools are provided with the opportunity to develop their skills and continue participating through programmes on offer through their local facility or facility linked local club.
