About Charnwood Community Facilities Grant
***The community facilities grants scheme is currently closed for applications***
The Charnwood Community Facilities programme aims to provide financial support to eligible organisations that require additional funding towards updating, improving or refurbishing community buildings.
The purpose of the grant is to ensure buildings are fit for purpose and allow provision of community-based activities. They need to be available for use by a wider community, in that they are available to all residents within the catchment area; sphere of work and non-members of your organisation / club for community activities and private functions.
The Community facilities grants scheme can award funding of up to £20,000, to a maximum of 50% of the cost of a project. This grants scheme is available for applications from all Charnwood Voluntary and Community Sector organisations, including Sports Clubs and Physical Activity groups.
