About Asda Foundation - Investing in Spaces and Places Grant
Asda Foundation know small grass roots organisations play a vital role in their community, making positive change and improving people's lives every day, but the challenge for many is having the appropriate space and place to bring people together to deliver this fantastic work.
Asda Foundation will be investing £500,000+ for this grant in 2023 to support bigger community projects within local communities where local people can be together and thrive. Grants will be between £10,000 and £25,000 and the application window opens on 6th February with funding announced in June 2023.
The grant criteria will focus on investing in community spaces and places and projects must fall into at least one of the following categories:
- Building Repairs
- Building Development
- Outdoor Development
Applications are accepted from local not-for-profit organisations with an income of less than £250,000 and unrestricted reserves below £100,000. This includes registered charities, CICs, companies, unincorporated club or association, small community groups or government entities/public bodies.
Application forms can only be obtained from Asda Community Champions, who are based in local Asda superstores. Groups can use the store locator link on the Foundation website to get in touch with their local store and speak to their Community Champion about their project proposal. Applications cannot be made directly to the Asda Foundation.
Applications will be accepted from 6 February 2023 to 19 March 2023.
