Project Launch Fund

A new £2m grant scheme for healthcare in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland has been launched. Whether it's for an environmental improvement to a building, for equipment, training or ways of transforming the way you work, every small idea you have can make a big difference.

Some examples of grass roots ideas include an activity focused wheelchair group to improve wellbeing and quality of life through exercise; sports clubs opening up their facilities for community groups and promoting health messages; linking with the We Are Undefeatable programme by addition of physical activity sessions to condition specific groups e.g. into dementia groups – or vice versa offering sessions at the clubs for these groups to access.

The application process is very simple - no long forms or complicated entry requirements. Simply share your bright idea on the website and the positive difference it will make. Decisions will be made on a fortnightly basis so that fantastic ideas can be put into action right away, with access to specialist project and development support to help you on your way to success.

There's no application deadline but the fund will close when all the money has been allocated, so don't delay!
