About North West Leics DC - King's Coronation Grant
The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III will take place on Saturday 6th May 2023, with an additional bank holiday on Monday 8th May 2023. We are keen to hear from groups/organisations in communities across North West Leicestershire that are looking to celebrate the Coronation.
The district council is making funding available of up to £250 to support groups that want to celebrate the occasion. The grant could fund things such as a tea party, social event, exhibition or anything that has a coronation celebratory theme and involves the community. The grant will be open to parish councils, constituted community groups and schools.
Applications are now open and will close on Thursday 6th April 2023.
