The Role:
The Programme Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting Get Berkshire Active's strategic objectives by effectively planning, coordinating, and delivering a diverse range of programmes and initiatives aimed at promoting physical activity and well-being across Berkshire. This includes engaging with various demographics, such as unemployed individuals and young people, fostering strong relationships with relevant organizations and stakeholders and collaborating with a wide range of partners. The Programme Coordinator will work closely with Get Berkshire Actives Strategic Leads across a wide range of programmes.
About you:
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about promoting physical activity and well-being within the community. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and a team player, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. You should have a proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, you should possess the ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively without close supervision.
While prior experience in delivering/facilitating workshops, training, or coaching in sports or physical activity settings is desirable, a strong enthusiasm to learn and grow in these areas is equally important. We provide comprehensive training and support to ensure you can excel in these aspects of the role. What we offer:
You will receive a salary of £26,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience, and benefits include a substantial contributory pension scheme, a generous holiday allowance and learning, development and training opportunities.
