Leicestershire & Rutland County FA Facilities Funding

The Leicestershire & Rutland County FA are currently inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from grassroots football clubs and organisations looking to develop their facilities between now and 2017.

The FA, via its investment into The Football Foundation is looking to support projects that will make a difference to a football club and the community it serves. As ever, the demand is expected to be exceptionally high and will exceed the financial resources we have available.

However, Leicestershire & Rutland County FA, The FA and The Football Foundation will continue to offer advice and support in relation to facility projects where it is considered to be of benefit to football and, in addition, will try to identify any other relevant funding sources or seek to work with you to reduce overall project costs.

Even if you have previously completed an EOI Form, please submit this form to provide us with the most relevant and up to date information.

All EOIs will be scored upon the window closing on Friday 27th November 2015.

Scoring comprises of a number of elements including FA Charter Standard, number of existing teams based on site, financial sustainability and proposed project requirements. Please ensure your project aims are realistic.

All projects will be contacted in December 2015 with The FA's and County FA's comments. Guidance and advice will be provided where appropriate. The higher scoring projects will be invited in for an informal presentation to be held on Thursday 12th January 2016.
Priority projects will then be identified and will be asked to work up their applications throughout 2016 with full backing and support from all parties.
